Day 45- “Trier”

7.28.2012

Andy and I woke up early this morning and drove out about an hour and a half to Trier, Germany – aka Treves. It is the oldest city in Germany but very much alive with shopping and museums. We spent the day walking down the streets, shopping, and visiting Porta Nigra. It was a perfect first Saturday in Germany.

As we entered town, we were greeted by an opera troupe.
